The opening prompt
Make Hangman with a built-in list of at least 300 common English words in 5 categories (animals, countries, food, sports, science) chosen by the player or random. Draw the gallows on canvas in 7 stages, show used letters, on-screen keyboard for mobile, win and lose screens revealing the word, streak counter saved. Keep the drawing friendly, not gruesome (a stick figure is fine).
What we learned
